Quotes and estimates

Quotes are based on what we are told and what we can see. If the job turns out to be materially different when we arrive — far more square footage, heavy staining, or surfaces we were not told about — we will talk to you and agree a price before we start. We do not add charges to an invoice you have not seen.

Scheduling and weather

We work rain or shine where it is safe to do so. Some conditions are not safe or not effective — lightning, high wind, or freezing temperatures. If we need to move your appointment for weather we will contact you and reschedule at the earliest slot that suits you.

Access and utilities

We need reasonable access to the areas being cleaned and to a working outdoor water supply unless agreed otherwise. Please move vehicles, garden furniture and anything fragile before we arrive, close windows and doors, and let us know about anything that needs protecting.

Insurance

Ray-Nor-Shine Pro Wash is insured and bonded. If you would like to see proof before we start work, ask and we will provide it.

Pre-existing condition and liability

Exterior cleaning reveals what is already there. Failing seals, loose or oxidised paint, damaged siding, cracked concrete, rotten timber and old repairs can show up or worsen during a wash through no fault of the work. Where we spot something before starting, we will point it out. We are not liable for pre-existing damage or for defects that cleaning uncovers. We are liable for damage we actually cause, which is what the insurance is for.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We will walk the job with you before we pack up, so you can see the result while we are still there.

Cancellation

Let us know as early as you can if you need to cancel or move a booking, and we will work with you. We do the same for you if we need to move for weather.

Photographs

We often photograph our work for the gallery on this site and for social media. These show the property surfaces only. If you would rather we did not photograph your property, just say so and we will not.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
